Melissa Ross has been appointed as the Vice President of Global Operations. Ross is a highly accomplished leader with extensive experience in overseeing and optimizing operations across various global locations. Her focus is on ensuring efficiency, profitability, and alignment with business objectives. She is now based at Momentive Technologies’ global headquarters in Strongsville and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting to Mark A. Wolf, the President and CEO.
Ross will lead the global Operations function, which includes manufacturing locations in the U.S., Germany, South Korea, China, and Japan. Her primary responsibilities will encompass leading continuous improvement, procurement, engineering, quality, environmental health and safety (EH&S), and capital deployment and ensuring that related deliverables are met worldwide.

Melissa Ross joins Momentive Technologies after serving as the Vice President of Global Engineering at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. In that position, she was responsible for leading the development and implementation of new and improved manufacturing equipment and processes. She also focused on enhancing reliability to bolster capability and global competitiveness.
Ross started her career as a co-op and quickly moved up to managerial and director roles in Global Manufacturing, Engineering, and Goodyear’s Americas business. She has international experience as an engineering and maintenance manager in Australia and as a manufacturing director in Peru. With a strong background in project management and engineering, she excels in cross-functional collaboration.
Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio University and a master’s in engineering management from Case Western Reserve University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and received the STEP Ahead Award in 2017, to recognize women in science, technology, engineering, and production careers who exemplify leadership in their companies. In 2024, Ross was also recognized by Women We Admire as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Cleveland.
