Strongsville, Ohio, USA — Momentive Technologies, a leader in advanced materials solutions for the semiconductor industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of K. Musaka as Vice President, Crucibles Business. Musaka brings a unique blend of technical depth, commercial acumen, and transformational leadership to this critical role.

Most recently, Musaka served as Head of Sales Asia, Quarzglas Semiconductor at Heraeus, where he led business development across the Asian market, focusing on ceramic materials and components through technology research and market analysis. He also held a senior leadership role as Director and Executive Committee member at ShinEtsu Quartz Products, a Heraeus-ShinEtsu joint venture, where he led organizational restructuring and cultural transformation initiatives.
Musaka’s career began as a process engineer at Motorola and evolved through engineering roles at Intel, Applied Materials, and Ebara. He later transitioned into commercial and business management positions at Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials, Tyco Electronics, and Entegris, gaining a well-rounded perspective on operations and market strategy.
With 14 years of experience working in the U.S. and leading multi-national, multi-functional teams, Musaka is adept at navigating international business dynamics and integrating diverse organizations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Tsukuba and is currently a visiting research scholar at Waseda University Business School.
As Vice President of the Crucibles Business, Musaka will focus on:
