Brett Buffa, Senior Vice President, Quartz Business Unit
Brett Buffa now leads the Quartz Business Unit that provides high-purity fused quartz materials (rods, tubes, solids, and vials) to a global mix of silicon Wafer Fabrication Equipment and Integrated Device Manufacturing companies, lighting manufacturers, and telecommunications industry customers. Momentive Technologies’ quartz is often chosen due to its extreme stability at high operating temperatures.
Buffa’s 20 years of experience with innovation, customers, product development, and operations at Momentive Technologies includes his most recent leadership role, Vice President, Ceramics Business Unit, and earlier service as Global Product Manager. Brett brings a strong history of customer-focused R&D development, and the ability to build outstanding
teams across Momentive Technologies’ global locations.
Brian Kozak, Vice President, Ceramics Business Unit
Brian Kozak joins the company’s executive leadership team as Vice President, Ceramics Business Unit. The Ceramics Business Unit is a market leader in metal carbide coatings, pyrolytic boron nitride electrostatic chucks (ESC) and heaters, and ceramic powders including boron nitride and spherical alumina. Brian’s long history with Momentive Technologies’ Ceramics uniquely prepares him to execute the strategic vision to enable customer performance through advanced ceramic solutions. Key target markets for the strategy include power electronics for electric vehicles (EV), artificial Intelligence (AI), renewable energy, consumer electronics, and aerospace.
Most recently, Brian was the Global Business Director for the Metal Carbide Coatings business and over the last ten years has served as Senior Global Product Manager, Ceramics. He has worked closely with product teams in metal carbide coatings, pyrolytic boron nitride heaters, crucibles, coatings, and thermal management products.
